Suzanne M. Russell, 78, Kempton, formerly of Lake Placid, Fla., died at 6:58 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. She was born on March 19, 1934, in Flint, Mich., to Frank W. and Catherine (Walen) Fleming. Suzanne married Woodrow Russell in Mulberry, Ind., in 1980. He passed away on June 17, 2005.
Suzanne had a passion and love for Afghan hounds. She bred winning Afghan hounds and showed her own dogs for 44 years.
Survivors are two daughters, Kay Rothenburger and Sandy Bagley, both of Lafayette; two sons, Mike Bagley, Indianapolis, and Guy Bagley, Waukesha, Wis.; three grandchildren and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville Chapel, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Friends are invited to call from 6 p.m. until the start of the funeral service on Monday. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, Fla.
