Donald Lewis Davis, 81, Salem, S.C., died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Hope, Ind., Davis was the son of the late F. Ray Davis and Helen Howe Davis.
In addition to his wife of 21 years, Mary Lee Maher Davis, survivors include a son, John; daughter, Libby; and three grandchildren from a previous marriage. His additional family with Mary Lee includes, two daughters, Leilah and Katie, and son-in-law, Rajat Tandon; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Davis was preceded in death by a brother, F. Ray Davis Jr.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 8 at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel, Walhalla, S.C. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Robert Crilley, pastor emeritus, Fort Street Presbyterian Church, Detroit, Mich. Guests will be welcomed at a luncheon at the Club at Keowee Key at 2 p.m., following the memorial service.
