Scott Anthony Granson, 51, Kokomo, passed away at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014. He was born July 14, 1962, in Kokomo, to Richard “Dick” P. Granson and Olympia “Jo” A. (Stefan) Granson.
He graduated in 1981 from Kokomo High School. He had worked for Mohr Construction as a grader and surveyor. Scott loved fishing, sports, NASCAR, music, walking his dog Gracie, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his companion and soul mate Vickie Williams, Galveston; his mother Olympia “Jo” A. Granson, Kokomo; two daughters, Natalie Ann Granson and Aubrie Elaine Granson, both of Kokomo; brother, Kip and wife Dusty Granson, Lafayette; three sisters, Denise and husband Bobby Groves, Vicki and husband Mark White, Teresa and Scott Furr, all of Kokomo; one grandchild, Kameron Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his twin brother, Stephen G. Granson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor Dale Bliss officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, two hours prior to the service at the mortuary. Services will be followed by cremation.
