Stanley Jesse Baldwin, 77, Clovis, N.M., died Monday, March 3, 2014, at his home in Clovis. Memorial services were March 8, 2014, at Faith Christian Family Church, with Pastor David Swann officiating.
Stanley was born Dec. 20, 1936, to Weldy C. and Esther Magdeline (Stone) Baldwin in Kokomo. He married Mildred Joan Pruitt March 2, 1958, in Clovis, N.M.
He worked as an engineer for BNSF, retiring from the railroad after 37 years. He was a member of Clovis Portales Elks Lodge and loved playing cards, dancing, and his old country music.
Survivors include his wife, Joan, at home; three children, Keith (Anne) Baldwin, Clovis, N.M., Tenesa Reid, Simi Valley, Calif., and Tim (Melissa) Baldwin, Clovis, N.M.; two brothers, Duke Baldwin and Jip Baldwin, Kokomo; a sister, Sharon Catron, Kokomo; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldy and Esther; two brothers, Bud Baldwin and Butch Baldwin; two sisters, Jean Bowman and Jeri Phipps; and a great-granddaughter, Eden Baldwin.
