Clifford “Ray” Martin Jr., 61, Flora, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born Nov. 11, 1952, in Kokomo, to Clifford Ray Martin Sr. and Carol Anderson Martin. His father preceded him in death. Ray married Virginia Keller, and she survives.
Ray worked for Lawson Products in Flora. He was a member of New Hope Community Church and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, attending flea markets and festivals, and collecting model cars.
In addition to his wife and mother, Ray is survived by his children, Amy (Larry) Ostler, Jodi (Michael) Wood, Clifford Ray “Snapper” (Miriah) Martin III, Star (Brian) Williams, Nicole (Phillip) Knott, Karen (Eddy) Rossi, and Dean Asbury; siblings, Rita (Roger) White, Missy (Red) Redding, Debby (Nick) Pappas, Becky Miller, Robin (Rick) Hanley, Kim Bagby, and Jeff (Brenda) Martin; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ray will be from 9 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Community Church in Flora. Pastor Scott Gamel will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Citizens Cemetery in Bringhurst.
