---- — Jamie Colleen Hoover, 33, Kokomo, passed away at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her residence. Jamie was born Sept. 5, 1980, in Kokomo to Michael and Judith Hoover.
She was a Kokomo High School graduate. She worked in child care for many years; most recently she worked for Lil’ Munchkins Preschool and Daycare. Jamie also loved to sing and dance. She also enjoyed fishing, and loved taking nature walks. She loved being around family and friends. She didn’t know a stranger.
Survivors include her parents, Michael and Judith Hoover; three sisters, Amanda L. Parrott (Steve), Anna M. Cook (Bryan) and Merry K. Hoover; two nieces, Kiah Parrott and Emma Cook; and a nephew, Karson Parrott, and one on the way. Jamie is also survived by her fiance, Erik Havens.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Services will follow at noon, also at the mortuary, with the Rev. Kenneth Spangler officiating. Burial will take place in Crown Point Cemetery.
