---- — James Joseph Corradi, 66, Kokomo, took his first breath in Heaven at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was born Oct. 25, 1947, in St. Mary’s, Pa., the son of Giulio and Marie (Hannibal) Corradi. On Oct. 14, 1972, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, he married Anita Kay Zirkle, who survives.

James was a 1966 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was a veteran on the U.S. Army. He retired from Chrysler in 2001 after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, serving his Lord as deacon, usher and working on Mission Possible and with Redeemer Men’s Group at the Kokomo Rescue Mission. He loved to tease his family, friends and his buddies at the Chippendale Golf Course.

Left to cherish precious memories are his wife, Anita; beloved daughters, Sheri Keller and husband, Eric, Sandi Corradi, Susan Johnston and husband, Joe; grandsons, Dylan and Kraemer Keller; mother, Marie Corradi; mother-in-law, Annabelle Zirkle; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Peacock; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Russell Rood, and Jamie and Paul Bitner; nephews, Jim Peacock and wife Kay, Larry Peacock and wife, Vickie, and Tony Rood and Kim; nieces, Monica Pike and Melissa Butler; several great-nieces and great-nephews; beloved cousin, Joe Rigard and wife, Jean; lifelong friend, Dave Campbell and wife, Kathy.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Giulio Corradi; his father-in-law, Don Zirkle; and nephew, Josh Bitner.

Funeral services celebrating Jim’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 Southway Blvd. East, with Pastor William Allison and Pastor Barry Akers officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
