Huguette Jeanne Marie ‘Ann’ Love

Huguette Jeanne Marie “Ann” Love, 86, Greentown, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 6, 1926, to the late Henri and Felicie (Brunel) Clariot in Entraigues, France. In 1947, Huguette married her husband, Clarence Love in Paris. Mr. Love survives.

Huguette graduated from high school in 1941 in Avignon, France. After moving to the United States, she began working for Delco Division of General Motors; she retired after 36 ½ years in 1986 as a group leader. She was a member of UAW Local 292, Delco Alumni, and a board member of the retirees.

Huguette was very proud of her U.S. citizenship and was honored to be an American. She enjoyed flowering, and gardening, reading, cooking, and attending sporting events. She also loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, attending many of their events. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Love; two daughters, Mary-Ann P. (Denny) Cullison, Greentown, Linda E. (Mark) Finley, Greentown; four grandkids, Michelle (Jeff) Musgrave, Stacy Witman, Maj. Amy Thomas (United States Marine Corps), Ashley Cullison; great-grandkids, Tyler Musgrave, Jesi Evans, Cheyenne Witman and Jonah Evans; one sister, Pierrette Bertrand; and several nieces and nephews in France.

The family would like to thank Custom Companions, Cathy, Jordan, Tereasa, Margaret, Michelle, also Nightingale Hospice, Century Villa Rehab Center of Greentown, and Diane Butler, friend and caregiver, for their loving care given to Huguette.

Huguette was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Mark Finley.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with family friend Tony Long officiating. Private burial will follow at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
