Mary “Granny” Bolin, 75, Kokomo, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at her home. She was born June 21, 1938, in Sikeston, Mo., to Walter and Anna (Beatty) Bolin.
She retired from General Motors and was a member of local UAW 292 and FOP. She liked traveling and going to the Saturday morning breakfast club. She was an avid Colts fan and Coke collector and was a supporter of We Care. She enjoyed being with her family and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Greg (Julie) Wohlford; daughters, Teressa King, Brenda (Stacy) Pratt, and Paula Richey; sister, Edna Barnette; grandchildren, Randy (Michelle) McCoy, Brandy (Joshua) Rose, Amanda (Travis) Ploughe, Christopher (Ashleigh) Pratt, Matthew (Amanda) Wohlford, Samantha (Zach) Rudolph, Jessica (Devin) Neveu, and Jason Richey; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur L. Wohlford; two brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandchild and special angel, Hunter LeeAnn McCoy.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, 310 W. Taylor St. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
