James William Moore, 52, Forest, passed away at 7:14 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at his home. He was born on Sept. 10, 1961, in Frankfort, to James Leslie Moore and Jeannette R. (McCarty) Hise. On July 28, 2012, he married Kimberly L. Roe, and she survives.
James was a self-employed mechanic. He attended Clinton Central High School. James was a member of Mount Hope Chapel in Michigantown and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 7 in Frankfort. He enjoyed horseshoes and loved guitar music.
Survivors include wife, Kimberly L. Moore; stepfather, James Hise; son, Nathan Moore; stepdaughter, Lacey Moore; brother, Fred Moore; two grandchildren, Nolan and Landon Moore.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother, Gary Moore.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Max Kingsoliver. Burial will follow at Veneman Cemetery in Forest. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
