Pauline Creek, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 4:26 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Feb. 15, 1941, to the late Robert and Bessie (Sharp) Canady in Black Mountain, Ky. Pauline married Robert “Bob” Earl Creek June 20, 1959 in Kokomo, and he preceded her in death Nov. 10, 2011.
Pauline attended and graduated from Kokomo High School. She belonged to the Gamma Nu Sorority, and was a faithful member of the Hillside Missionary Baptist Church. Pauline drove a school bus for the Taylor Community School Corporation for 28 years. She enjoyed gardening. Her family was of utmost importance to her.
Pauline is survived by her children, Robert Lee (Cindy) Creek, Fort Wayne, and Gregory Earl Creek, Tipton; four grandchildren, Melinda, Melissa, Ashley and Austin Creek; and brothers, James, Charles and Bill Canady.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Creek; and siblings, Harold Canady, Irene Williams, Jeweldean Dodd and Don Canady.
Funeral services for Pauline will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with Rev. Doyle Buckner officiating. You are invited to join Pauline’s family for a time of visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
