Suzanne Eikenberry, 68, Russiaville, went to be with the Lord with her loving family by her side at 10:28 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at her residence. She was born Oct. 14, 1941, in Bedford, to Carl F. McCann and Erma H. (Koontz) McCann. On Oct. 26, 1968, in Kokomo, she married Michael G. Eikenberry, he survives. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1959. She was a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church. She was a life member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, sewing and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; son Ron and wife Deb Watson; son Jim and wife Angella Eikenberry; daughter Cindy and husband Jason Green; stepson, Michael Todd Eikenberry and wife Jayne; two brothers-in-law Larry Hawks and wife Sheri, and Gayle Eikenberry and wife Joyce; two sisters-in-law Susie Boggs and husband Verlin, and Becky McJunkins and husband Bob; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephew, Mark McCann; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Michael T. McCann.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hill Christian Church, 2600 W. Alto Road, with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Clinton County. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster Street.
