Clifford E. Burns, 91, Russiaville, passed away at 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born May 29, 1922, in Kokomo to John W. and Lue Ive (Farran) Burns. Clifford married Geneva Alberta Greenwood on July 20, 1954, and she passed away Jan. 18, 2003.
Clifford was in the Army and served during World War II. He worked for Delco Electronics for 37 years and retired in 1984. Clifford was a member of the Local UAW 292. He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and yard work.
Survivors include children, Clifford E. Burns Jr., Russiaville, Martha Jean Bertrand, Astatula, Fla., Randall C. Burns, Kokomo, and Rick (Susie) Burns, Russiaville; grandchildren, Clifford E. (Toni) Burns III, Jeff (Michelle) Burns, Connie (Mike) Irwin, Tabatha (Lewis) Huntsman, Shannon Mundell, Jeremy Williams, Ryan (Katie) Williams, Meghan (Graham) Oster, John Bertrand, Joe Bertrand and Mike Bertrand; brother, Robert (Vada) Fuller, Arkansas; 14 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lue Ive Burns; wife, Geneva Alberta Burns; seven brothers; one sister; daughter in-law, Janet Burns; and son in-law, Norman Bertrand.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Ron Mann officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call upon the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
