---- — Rosa Lee Gannon, 65, Kokomo, went home to be with the Lord at 3:32 pm Friday, June 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. She was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Kokomo to Middleton Smoot and Eula Mai (Neal) Gannon.
Rosa graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1966. She was a member of Mount Zion Free Methodist Church near Galveston and attended there for over 50 years. Her hobbies included reading, journaling, working crossword puzzles and cooking.
She is survived by three sisters, Mary Key, Monterey, Tenn., Naomi (Dan) Vandiver, Kokomo, and Rebecca (Steve) Bechtel, Indianapolis. She is also survived by one niece, Tammy Brooks, Kokomo; and three great-nieces, Shelby and Sierra Carpenter and Cheyanne Brooks, all of Kokomo.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, with funeral services at 7:30 p.m., also Wednesday. The Rev. Russ Veldman will officiate. Burial will take place at Galveston Cemetery at a later date.
