---- — On Monday, July 1, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, Robert J. Snyder, 83, Interlachen, Fla., went to his eternal home to join his beloved wife, Berdina. They were married Oct. 3, 1948, in Kokomo. Bob was born in Kokomo to Floyd and Lou Snyder.
He had resided in Interlachen for the past 14 years. Bob had worked at American Standard Pottery for 32 years and was a school bus driver for Kokomo High School for 12 years. Bob was a member of Eden Baptist Church in Florida. Bob enjoyed fishing and was a Bass Club member in Indiana.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Johnson, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Jerry Snyder and wife Ann, West Lafayette; brother and sisters, George Snyder and wife Mary, Kathryn Bowser and husband Sheldon, Sherrill Green and husband Bill, Anita Maine, Donna Krajewski and husband Jim, Jenell Price and husband Tom; sister-in-law, Lura Cook; brother-in-law, Ron Kitts; five grandchildren, Robert Roler, Deana Watson and husband Chris, Justin Johnson, Chad Knight and wife Laurie, and Jeremy Knight and wife Sharon; eight great-grandchildren, Camille Swan, Shelby Roler, Austin Knight, Brandon Knight, Cameron Knight, Rebecca Knight, Maya Watson, and Kaden Knight; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Snyder, and a sister, Lila Kitts.
Private family services will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home, Interlachen, Fla.
