Norma “Lynn” East, 73, Kempton, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Indiana University, Tipton Health. She was born May 7, 1940, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Earl and Hattie Bell. In 1994, she married Ramon East, who passed away July 19, 2012.
Lynn mostly stayed at home as a housewife. She loved to travel, antiquing, gospel music and serving the Lord. She also enjoyed her friends and family, especially her grandkids.
Surviving is her son, Flint Farmer, Kokomo; stepmother, Betty Bell, Missouri; sister, Loretta Bell, Kentucky; grandchildren, Latina East, Darren Barton, Andy Barton, Destiny Booth and Chase Booth; and son-in-law, Bobby Booth, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Gary Bell.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
