---- — Angelia T. (Temple) Jackson, 53, New London, formerly of Lafayette, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at her home. She was born June 6, 1960, in Kokomo to Bud and Opal (Gaskins) Temple. Angelia married Eldon Jackson and he preceded her in death.

Angelia was a 1978 graduate of Western. She worked for Greenbush Industries at Caterpillar in Lafayette. Angelia was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 8035, she loved to crochet, was an avid reader and loved flowers.

Survivors include son, Dean Jackson, USAF Goodfellows AFB San Angelo, Texas; mother, Opal Gaskins Temple, New London; siblings, Gloria (Tim) Baker, Kokomo, Ruben Temple, New London, Michael (Deana) Temple, Oklahoma City, Okla., Amy (Doug) Lewe, New London; nine nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; and best friend, Gordie Mattox.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bud Temple; and husband, Eldon Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Jeff Tinney officiating services. Burial will follow the services in Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
