Donna Mae Mason, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, in Sycamore Village-Golden Living Center, Kokomo. Born Jan. 28, 1936, in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Paul Colby and Lillian (Polovina) Colby. On July 10, 1963, in Danville, Ill., she married Eugene Mason. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2011.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had attended Foursquare Gospel Church, and was a member of First Assembly of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Stasha (Rod) Ford and Debbie (Jeff) Scott, both of Kokomo; three sisters, Janice Clelland, Wabash, Ralpha Ruth (Ted) Hamilton, Marion, and Della (Ollie) Edlen, Michigan City; four grandchildren, Chad (Christina) Roark, Christy (Ed) Merriweather, Brock Ford, and Grant Ford; five great-grandchildren, Naithan Roark, Braidan Roark, Elijah Merriweather, Faith Merriweather and Joshua Merriweather.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Pastor Ken Rushing will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
