Jennie Marie Trader

Tipton — Jennie Marie Trader, 91, Spencer, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at IU Hospice House. She was born Jan. 2, 1922, in Howard County to Mat and Ada (Fulford) White.  

She worked in the cafeteria for Owen Valley High School for 12 years. Jennie was a member of Mount Olivet Christian Church and the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing word searches, watching game shows and religious programs.

Mrs. Trader is survived by four sons, Perry M. Trader (Linda), Spencer, Jim Trader (Ellen), Camby, Charles Trader (Nancy), Spencer, and Don Trader (Donnette), Gosport; three daughters, Irma Pegg (Morris), Bloomington, Debbie Jacobs (Larry), Bloomington, and Jan Raymond (Greg), Spencer; two sisters, Nina Kessler and Irma Comp, both of Kokomo; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Jennie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Perry W. Trader, three brothers two sisters, and a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Brother Billy Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Chambersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
