Martha J. (Livermore) Harlan, 79, Anderson, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Manor Care after an extended illness. Martha was born in Roseville, Ill., March 6, 1934, to Orville and Lois (Woodward) Livermore.

We were fortunate to have her be a “stay-at-home mom” until she went back to work in 1981. Mom worked for the ways and means committee while Greg and I were in the Highland Band. She retired from Best X-ray in 1999.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Lori (Patrick) Cole, Greentown; son, Gregory L. Harlan, Medford, N.J.; brother, John (Lilla) Livermore, Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Regan E. Cole, A. Grant Cole, Benjamin Cole and Colin Harlan; several nieces and nephews.
