Audrey Jeannie Tomaszewski, 81, Kokomo, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Waterford Place Health Campus.
She was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Nova Scotia, Canada, to the late William and Mary Jane (Bennett) Emberley. On Sept. 18, 1952, in Three Lakes, Wis., she was married to Donald Tomaszewski, who survives.
Audrey was a homemaker but also worked at Michigan Tech Facility, Davis Dry Cleaners, and was a present Election Board member.
She enjoyed reading and canning and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Charles Circle.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Tomaszewski; three daughters, Sandra (Larry) Wolfe, of Hope, Jean (Donald) Lowery, Montgomery, Ala., and Cheryl (David) Bollhoefer, Kokomo; two sons, Andrew (Sheri) Tomaszewski, Kokomo, and Tomas (Deanna) Tomaszewski, Westfield; eight grandchildren, T.J. Walker, Andrea Beesley, Ashley Tomaszewski, Jennifer Lowery, Erin Lowery, Lindsey Bollhoefer, Nickolis Tomaszewski, Emma Tomaszewski, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo, with the Rev. Fr. David Huemmer celebrating. Burial will take place at a later time in Three Lakes, Wis. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
