Thelma Maxine Barnett Lilly

— Thelma Maxine Barnett Lilly, 87, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Alamo, Calif. Born Dec. 31, 1925, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Orville Barnett and Floetta Kercheval. 

She attended Kokomo High School and loved playing softball there.

She was married to James Lilly on Oct. 30, 1943. He preceded her in death, as did brothers Eddie, Gene and Orville Barnett Jr., and sister, Wilma Jo Rudkin.

Thelma and James owned Medallion Homes Inc. She also did personal income taxes for more than 50 years. She was a member of Eastern Star and loved cheering for the Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Mosbaugh; two granddaughters, Paige Mueller and Jessica Mosbaugh; brothers, Emmett, Bob and James Barnett; sisters, Beverly Foster, Evelyn Barrett, Eileen Ward and Emma Lou Barrett; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 16 in First Assembly of God, Kokomo. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
