Yolanda M. Rogers, 74, Tipton, died at 8:02 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at IU Health Tipton Hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1937, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Michael and Anna Marie (Puliese) Polo.
She retired from Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo.
Her life was changed in 1979 when her son, Rance, had an accident which left him disabled. After the accident, she gave her life to the care of her son for the last 33 years. He preceded her in death on Monday.
Yolanda’s and Rance’s funerals will be together at 2 p.m. Sunday at West Street Christian Church, with the Rev. Linda McKiernan-Allen presiding. Cremation will follow. Visitations will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
