Marcia M. Zook, 68, Kokomo, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Kindred Healthcare. She was born April 27, 1944, in Kokomo, to Merville and Marie (Kollmar) Lloyd. On April 17, 1999, she married James Zook in Greentown and he survives along with former husband Jim Bagley.
Marcia was a 1963 graduate of Kokomo High School. She worked for Delphi for 14 years before her retirement. She was currently working for Mac’s Market in Kokomo. Marcia loved to be outdoors working in her yard and cooking for friends and family, and riding around with her convertible top down. She also loved to be with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James Zook, Kokomo; daughter, Heather (Michael) Lay, Kokomo; son, Jamie Bagley, Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Connor Lay, Katherine Lay and Nathan Lay; nieces and nephews, Kristi Troutman, Mike Walter, Kay Walter and Patrick Wall, all of Indianapolis; cousins, Tim Carey, Kevin Carey, Kelly Humphrey, Cathy Hilton, Maureen Gardner, Trish Little, Suzi Maher and Julie Arnold; and aunt, Marvis Hasenohr.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Wall; special aunt, Ruth Carey; and niece, Kim Walter.
A Mass of a Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. County Road 200 West in Kokomo with the Rev. David Huemmer officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with a rosary services starting at 6:30 p.m.
