Vicki Mack, 62, Kokomo, passed away at 6:23 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012. She was born to the late Fredrick Mack and Bonnie Callis (Long) on Sept. 5, 1949, in Logansport. In 1967, Vicki married Ronald Deck, and they later divorced.
Vicki attended Kokomo High School. She worked locally as a CNA for several nursing home facilities. However, she spent most of her time at home with her children. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, reading and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three brothers, Greg Mack and companion Janette Lugenbel, Kokomo, Junior (Debbie) Mack, Michigan, and Brad (Kathy) Mack, Kokomo; one sister, Toni (John) Rider, Texas; two daughters, Annette Whiteman-Deck, Kokomo, Nicole Roseberry-Deck and companion Glean Clingaman; several nieces and nephews, Audra Mack, Deania Mack, Amber Mack, August Mack; grandchildren, J.J. (Britney) Bronson, Galveston, Stephanie Beatty and companion Mark Belzer, Kokomo, Ronnie Deck Bronson, Kokomo, Crystal Deck and companion Travis Gibson, Kokomo, Heather Deck and companion Brandon Bratton, Kokomo, Natosha Richardson and companion Tyler Kauffman, Kokomo, Colena Roseberry, Kokomo, Glean Jr. Clingaman, Kokomo; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and several aunts.
Services are noon Friday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Robert Morphew officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the mortuary.
