Kathleen M. Sendelbach Sowell, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born Feb. 2, 1923 in Kokomo, the daughter of Walter and Mary Pearce.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Sowell; three daughters, Anita K. Rose, Cave Creek, Arizona, Mary L. Wilcox, Sharpsville, and Katherine R. Oliver, Glendale, Arizona; her only surviving sister, Jane Irwin, Kokomo; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Sendelbach; and son, James L. Sendelbach.
Kathleen retired from General Motors in Indiana and was a tax preparer for many years while residing in Arizona. She is listed in Who’s Who of Business. Her hobbies included traveling, sewing, cake decorating and oil painting. Kathleen was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all of us.
