Marjorie (Marge) Weppler, 80, Bradenton, Florida, died peacefully Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, from complications of surgery. She was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Tipton, to Henry and Louella Hall.
She worked in banking in Kokomo before relocating to the Sarasota/Bradenton area, where she married Bob Weppler in 1995. She was retired from Barnett Bank and Gulf Coast Marine Institute. She was a trustee of the Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, the Sarasota/Manatee County Alzheimer’s Association, a member of the Manatee River Orchid Society and volunteered at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Bradenton.
She is survived by her brother, Henry (Butch) Hall; her sister, Janet Mulder; her stepchildren, Debra O’Neal, Nick and Melody Graves, Bill and Denise Graves, Larry Weppler, Vicki Paoli, Terry Weppler and Pam Weppler; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Patrick; and a grandson, Michael Phillip.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory Lincoln Road Chapel 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with the Rev. Father Mike McKinley officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call upon the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
