Charmion Perle Quick, 87, died in her home at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, of natural causes in Fullerton, California. Home birthed on Oct 6, 1926, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Earl C. and Grace (Stout) Tooley. Earl C. Tooley died Oct 3, 1965, and Grace Tooley on Nov 21, 1980. She was married April 30, 1949, to Barne Quick.
Surviving are her husband, Barne Quick; two sons, Mark and Kim Quick; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, all of Fullerton, California.
Charm lived the majority of life in Kokomo, writing for the society page for the Kokomo Tribune during the 1940s, graduating from Indiana University in 1948. She was a member of Tri Delta Sorority and First Presbyterian Church.
The family prefers memorials to be in the form of contributions to the Howard County Chapter of the American Heart Association or a favorite charity.
