James E. Linson, 67, Russiaville, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at his home. He was born May 26, 1945, in Tipton County to Raymond O. And Anna Lucile (Cox) Linson.
James was a 1963 graduate of Prairie High School and graduate of Indiana Business College. He retired from Kingston Products after 30 years of service and also helped on the family farm. James loved gardening, attending IU basketball games and was an avid Colts fan.
Survivors include two sisters, Iris Harrell, Kokomo, and Joan Lamm, Kokomo; one brother, Marland “Bud” Linson, Russiaville; nieces and nephews, Sue Williams, John Taylor, Diane Morgan, Greg Taylor, Beth Jordan, Michelle Creviston and Deanna Shane; sister in-law, Linda Linson, Russiaville; brother in-law, Fred Taylor, David Harrell; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard “Dick” Linson; and brother in-law, Don Lamm.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. Russiaville, with Pastor Jamie Lyon officiating. Burial will be in Russiaville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
