Mary Ann Thomas, 64, Camden and formerly of Russiaville, passed away at 11:10 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in I.U. Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. Born March 14, 1948, in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Paul Foley Wilcox and Mary Madeline (Byrne) Wilcox.
She was a homemaker and also employed by Lafayette Venetian Blinds. She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble and online word games, traveling and listening to music.
Survivors include one son, Nathan Richard Thomas, Camden; one daughter, Madeline Byrne (Dave) Maish, Avon; former husband and friend, Richard Lynn Thomas; five brothers, Larry (Karen) Wilcox, Hobbs, N.M., Tom (Sally) Wilcox, Rossville, Ted (Mary) Wilcox, Sharpsville, Kerry (Kathy) Wilcox and Michael Wilcox, both of Kokomo; one sister, Laurie (Rick) Bannon, Kirkland; three grandchildren Henry, Marron, and Teagan; and also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kevin Wilcox.
A private memorial service will be at Ellers Mortuary, with the Rev. Andrea L. Martin officiating.
