Cathy Joan Dillon-Harding, 50, Westfield, passed away at 7:48 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on Feb. 7, 1963, in Kokomo to James G. and Rosemary (Hardesty) Dillon. On Oct. 17, 1981, she married Rick L. Harding at Main Street United Methodist Church.
Cathy was a 1980 Haworth High School graduate and a graduate of PCI Dental School. She was a dental assistant and a preschool teacher for 19 years at Christ United Methodist Church. Cathy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Wednesday Afternoon Knitting Group.
Survivors include parents, James and Rosemary Dillon, Kokomo; husband, Rick Harding, Westfield; two sons, Blake A. Harding and Chase D. Harding, both of Westfield; cousin-in-law, Bill Russell; two aunts, Ruth Duncan and Jane Reason; one uncle, Richard Hardesty; brothers-in-law, Robert (Susie) Harding, Ron Harding and Larry Harding; nieces and nephew Travis, Jessica, Sadie.
Preceding her in death were grandparents, Herschel (Flossie) Hardesty, Walter (Leona) Dillon; four uncles, Jack Dillon, Rex Hardesty, Raymond Hardesty and Robert Hardesty; two aunts, Reba Snodgrass and Ruby Longfellow; cousin, Stephanie Russell; mother and father-in-law, Robert (Mary) Harding.
Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, 318 N. Union St., Westfield, with Pastor Dave Ballinger officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
