Agnes M. Wolf, 97, Kokomo, and formerly of Whiting, passed away at 11:16 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Sept. 27, 1915, to John and Mary (Chovan) Psikula in East Chicago. Agnes married Charles R. Wolf on Oct. 20, 1941, and he passed away on Oct. 22, 1980.
Agnes had been a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church since 2003 and was previously a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Whiting. She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and Whiting Knights of Columbus Wives Club.
Survivors include son, Charles J. (Karen) Wolf, Kokomo; two grandchildren, Chris (Karen) Wolf, Carmel, Melissa (Brad) Burkhalter, Kokomo; five great-grandchildren, Michael Wolf, Allison Wolf, Patrick Wolf, Andrew Burkhalter, Bryan Burkhalter; niece, Sandy Romanak; nephew, Steve Psikula.
Mass of Christian burial will be noon on Friday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 West, with the Rev. Father Ted Dudzinski officiating the services. Friends may call between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road. Burial will be 2 p.m. (CST) Friday at Calumet Park Cemetery, 7535 Taft St., Merrillville.
