Kenneth Eugene “Kenny” Pier, 53, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, in a motorcycle accident in Abilene, Texas. He was a resident of Roscoe and Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Mr. Pier was born April 18, 1960 in Kokomo. He married Teresa Patterson July 13, 2007, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Kenny lived in Roscoe, Texas, and had worked for Freeman Trucking since 1999 as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Pier, Sulphur Springs; daughter, Laura Pier, Sulphur Springs; sons, Harley Pier, Commerce, Texas, Jason Patterson, Columbus, Ohio, Justin Ellars, Flora; brothers, Ed Pier, Steven Pier and Ronnie Pier, all of Kokomo; sister, Roberta Pier Jackson, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Addisyn Pier, Brianna Patterson and Braxton Pier.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Pier; and his mother, Dorothy Pier.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at 144 W. Broadway, Bunker Hill.
