Charles F. Rayl , 75, Kokomo, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, in Windsor Estates Health Care Center, Kokomo. He was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Kokomo to Lucille (Cain) Rayl and Durward Rayl.
Charles was a1951 graduate of Kokomo High School. He also graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor degree in civil engineering. He was also former owner of Rayl Motor Company Lincoln Mercury, Kokomo. He attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
He is survived by brother, Jim L. Rayl and wife Nancy, Kokomo; nephews, Jim Rayl and wife Laurie, Kokomo, Tom Rayl, Lafayette; niece, Ginger Fortin and husband Mike, New Hampshire; great-nephews, Thomas Fortin, New Hampshire, and Jace Rayl, Kokomo; and great-niece, Nancy Fortin, New Hampshire.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Tim Rayl; and a sister, Nancy Lou Rayl.
A graveside service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Crown Point Cemetery with Pastor Brad Swain officiating and special songs to be sung by Jack Mognett. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
