Robert Edward “Bob” Inderhees, 76, Kokomo, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014, at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born May 13, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Edward and Helen (Meiller) Inderhees. On June 3, 1961, in Cincinnati, he married Colette Fuller, who survives.
Bob was a 1955 graduate of Elder High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. He served in the Air Force as an airman 2nd class from 1960 to 1962. He was a salesman for Moore Business Forms, retiring after 37 years of service, and also worked for Proctor and Gamble for 10 years.
Bob was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and a cancer support group. He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan.
Bob is survived by his wife, Colette; four children, Gregg (Diana-Lynn) Inderhees, Mike (Lisa) Inderhees, Joe (Cathy) Inderhees, Tom (Kelly) Inderhees; grandchildren, Rebecca, Rachel, Ryan, Tyler, Joshua, Alexandrea, Haley, Kacie, Andrew and Christopher; brother, John “Jack” Inderhees; sisters, Marilyn (Inderhees) Mollman and Audrey (Inderhees) Reinhart; dog, Gabby.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 West, Kokomo, with the Rev. Father Martin Sandhage the celebrant. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday.
