— Alma N. Miller, 65, Kokomo, passed away at 10:26 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Nappanee to Noah S. and Emma Maida (Thomas) Anderson. She married Lester T. Miller on Sept. 11, 1969, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Dutch Cafe. She was a member of the Bethany Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lester, Kokomo; mother, Emma Maida Anderson, Nappanee; four sons, Lamar (Carol) Miller, Amboy, Allen (Heidi) Miller, Granger, Larry (Danyel) Miller, Amboy, and Gerald Miller, Greentown; a daughter, Norma (Wilbur) Jess, Kokomo; three brothers, Ivan Anderson, Goshen, David Anderson, Nappanee, and Junior Anderson, Nappanee; six sisters, Inez Mast, Nappanee, Treva Otto, Kokomo, Mary Otto, Kokomo, Betty Yoder, Topeka, Rosetta Anderson, Nappanee, and Anna Miller, Nappanee; and eight grandchildren, Justin, Brice, Renae, Parker, Mikayla, Trenton, Jordan and Ashley.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Noah Anderson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethany Fellowship School. Services are 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethany Fellowship School with Marvin Beachy, Darlton Bontrager and Delbert Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in the Christner Cemetery in southern Miami County.
