Randall P. Hoover, 49, Kokomo, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his home. He was born April 2, 1963, in Kokomo, the son of Ned and Charmaine (Summers) Hoover. On Oct. 3, 1987, in Kokomo, he married Michelle L. Brown, who survives.
Randall was a 1981 graduate of Taylor High School and attended IUK. He was the owner of Hoover Hearing Services, where he spent a lot of time catering to his patients’ needs and making sure they were always 100 percent satisfied with their service. He was also owner of Noble Roman’s Pizza. He was a hard worker and enjoyed reading, listening to music and spending time with his granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; two sons, Randall Hoover II and girlfriend Alicia Beaman and Drake Hoover; granddaughter, Ava Hoover; brother, Ned Hoover Jr. and wife Wanda; sister, Sherry Thompson and husband Pete, all of Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Carl Roudebush officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Starkey Hearing Foundation, with envelopes available.
