William Craig Grammer, 59, Kokomo, was taken into the arms of angels to his eternal home at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Health. He was born Nov. 4, 1953, in Kokomo to L.G. and Myrtle (Brown) Grammer. On June 4, 1988, he married Lisa Miller in Kokomo.
Craig was a 1971 Kokomo High School graduate. He liked guns, motorcycles, horses, skeet shooting, and John Wayne movies.
Survivors include wife Lisa Grammer; son William Cord Grammer, Kokomo; daughter Aleyssa (Mike) Long, Kokomo; grandchildren Ashton Padfield, Gavin Padfield, Jazmine Grammer, Jayden Grammer, Maddie Grammer; father- and mother-in-law, Jerry (Toni) Miller, Kokomo; nieces, Heather Millstead and Kimberly Millstead, both of Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.G. and Myrtle Grammer, and sister, Joyce Millstead.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
