Neva M. Myers, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 1:19 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Health. Neva was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Frankfort, Ohio, to the late Rev. Howard and Dorothy Fannon (Copper). Her marriage to Jack E. Myers, who survives, was Sept. 7, 1962, in Greentown.
Neva enjoyed watching soap operas and game shows. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Jack E. Myers; three sons, Wes Sturgell (Anna), Keith Myers, Lyle Myers (Alisha); two daughters, Kelsonda Sarver (Charles), and Jackie Myers; a sister, Janet O’Malley; two brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Cloyd and Nancy Myers and Bill and Lela Myers; 26 grandchildren, Josh Ray (Lindsey), Chad Myers, Kelsey Myers, Brandi Vawter (Ryan), Harlan Myers, Brittnee Burton, Brock Earnheart, Garrett Earnheart, Breigh-Anne Ooley, Katie Mossholder, Angaleta Shipp, Miranda Sturgell, Joseph Sturgell, Lisa Raines, T.J. Raines (Michaele), Kristie Mrozicki (Matthew), Melissa Isenhower (Kelsey), Donna Rossman (Jim), Charles Sarver (Kiley); 21 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Tim Raines.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Services will follow at noon, also at the mortuary, with Kenny Cole officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
