Thomas “Tommy” G. Workman, Kokomo, passed away early Saturday morning, Oct. 27, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Williamson, W.Va., the son of Thomas A. and Quinnie (Bostic) Workman.
Tommy was a very loving, caring and dedicated son, brother and friend. He graduated in 1976 from Haworth High School. He enjoyed working on cars, lawnmowers and hanging out with his friends. Tommy worked at Continental Steel Corp. for 10 years until it closed in 1986. He also worked for the Pottery for 10 years until it closed.
He is survived by his mother, Quinnie; sister, Penny Workman; brother, Jeff Workman; niece, Abby Workman, all of Kokomo; as well as uncles, aunts and several cousins.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Church of God, 3401 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with Pastor W.L. Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
