Eileen L. “Enie” Lovelace, 86, Kokomo, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Northwoods Village. She was born on July 28, 1926, in Young America, to Austin and Lela (Moss) Oden. On April 24, 1948, she married John E. Lovelace, and he survives.
Enie was a 1944 Young America High School graduate. She was a member of the Christian Women’s Club as treasurer for 15 years, member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, where she held several offices in church, and volunteered 12 years at St. Joseph Hospital. Enie was a housewife, mother and helped on the family farm.
Surviving are her husband, John; sons, “Bill” C. William (Janet) Lovelace, John Edgar (Donna) Lovelace and Kevin (Diane) Lovelace; grandchildren, Chad (Cheri) Lovelace, Brian (Kris) Lovelace, Adam (Ciara) Lovelace, Kyra (Tim) Miller, John Austin Lovelace, Allison Grace (Aden) Lovelace-Stout, Megan (Brian) Flowers and Jacob (Nicole) Lovelace; great-grandchildren, Ava Marie Flowers, Grace Flowers, Madison Miller, Morgan Miller, Kadence Miller, Kylee Grace Lovelace, Adler Branson Stout, Hannah Lovelace, Blake Lovelace, Brayden Lovelace, Will Lovelace, Molly Lovelace, Madelyn Lovelace and Owen Lovelace; special niece, Carolyn Salsberry; and special friends, Melvin Good and John Tarkington.
She was preceded in death by her twin sons, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 5741 W. 100 North, Kokomo, with Pastor Zach Washler officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
