Olivia Badger, 68, Peru, passed away at 11:37 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born Oct. 30, 1944, in Kokomo, to Joseph and Norma (Morrow) Winters. On March 10, 1979, she married James Badger in Kokomo, and he passed away on June 24, 2013.
Olivia was a 1962 graduate of Kokomo High School and a 1991 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a business administration degree. She was the office manager at Kokomo Rehabilitation Hospital from 1991 to 1998, and she helped open the hospital. Olivia also worked at Replay and was a beautician in Kokomo. She loved to play bingo, make jewelry, work in her garden, and was an avid Colts fan and loved her little Yorkie, Sisco.
Survivors include children, Christopher (Teresa) Luckey, Nashville, Tenn., Brent Badger, Tipton, Cheryn (Charles) Seay, Walton, Carrie Luckey, Kokomo, Brandon (Andrea) Badger, Lapel, LaDonna (Ronnie) Buis, Kokomo, Kelly (Andrea) Badger, Fort Wayne; sister, Marty (Kevin) Taylor, Kokomo; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Norma Winters, and husband, Jim Badger.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Doyle Buckner officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
