Rosalee E. Fouts, 89, Peru, died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in Blair Ridge Health Care, Peru. She was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Miami County to Arthur and Clarice (Knight) Hessong. She was married Aug. 31, 1946, to Lewis Fouts, who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Bunker Hill High School and Lafayette Business College. She was a member of Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren and Washington Home Economics Club. She enjoyed puzzles, camping, working outside and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Steve) Klepinger, Rochester; a son, Scott (Myra) Fouts, Greenwood; three grandsons, Tony (Julie) Klepinger, Ryan (Hannah) Klepinger and David Fouts; three granddaughters, Christi (Jamey) Callane, Katie (Zach) Holt and Jordyn Fouts; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Natalie, Sarah and Jacob Klepinger, Reagah and Reese Klepinger and Josie and Jude Callane; a sister, Marjorie Bowyer, Peru.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dwight Fouts.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, with Pastor Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
