Marvin Clifford Bralley, 80, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Bluefield, Va., to Guy S. and Eva Mae (Neal) Bralley. He married Betty V. Bralley, and she preceded him in death in 1993.
He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, Tenn., and attended East Tennessee State University. He served four years in the United States Air Force and National Guard and later worked at Delco, where he retired. He was a member of American Legion Post 6.
Survivors include his children, Debbie (Randy) Fernung, the Rev. Jeffrey (Donna) Bralley, Samuel (Charlene) Bralley, Mark Bralley, Christina (Tim) Hicks, and Bridget (Troy) Neal; grandchildren, Terry (Amy) Fernung, Virginia (Shane) Durham, Courtney (Jason) Walsh, Jessica (Jay) Smith, Heather (David) Hose, Rebecca (Blake) Evans, Britney (Dalen) Richards, Clayton Neal, Zachary Bralley, Brandon Bralley, Harmonie Neal, Chloe Neal, and Evan Hicks; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jeremy Marvin Bralley, and one brother.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Swain officiating. Entombment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
