Paul H. Salsbery, 83, Galveston, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born May 27, 1929, in Tipton County, to Fred and Dorothy (Armfield) Salsbery. He was married Nov. 23, 1950, in Kokomo, to Phyllis (Gardner) Salsbery, who survives.
He worked at Stellite then later worked in independent construction, retiring in 1998.
He enjoyed woodworking and feeding the birds.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Salsbery, Galveston; daughter, Judy (Dick) Leopold, Ann Arbor, Mich.; son, Ron (Deb) Salsbery, Lakeland, Fla.; son, Mike Salsbery, Kokomo; son, Mark (Belinda) Salsbery, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Sandy (Jeff) Trotti, Fort Wayne; daughter, Sue (Jeff) Eads, Kokomo; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Salsbery, Burlington; and sister, Letha DeMoss, Oklahoma City, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Wilma Randolph.
Graveside services will be at noon Friday at Galveston Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. William Salsbery officiating. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston.
