Cheers & Jeers - Saturday, April 18, 2009

Volunteers are dedicated

Brianne Boles sends this Cheer to Bona Vista volunteers:

On behalf of Bona Vista Programs, we are proud to recognize and thank all of the wonderful volunteers that serve throughout Howard County. Bona Vista is a fortunate organization because we are supported by a tremendous group of volunteers who serve our mission. From volunteering at our special events to assisting in the classrooms with the children we serve, every volunteer has made an impact on our agency throughout the years. Without these dedicated individuals, Bona Vista would not be where it is today!

We are honored to recognize all of the efforts and continual support we receive from our volunteers. I am thankful for every person that has touched the many lives at Bona Vista Programs and am honored to work with individuals who are willing to donate their time and efforts to give back to their community.

“Cheers” to all of the wonderful people that volunteer in our community! We are fortunate and lucky to have the support and dedication of a great group of individuals!

Easter basket workshop a success

Kokomo Urban Outreach sends this Cheer to the community:

The lives of over 500 children and their families are much happier thanks to the Kokomo community. Because of Tom Carey’s Easter Basket Workshop, parents received the supplies necessary to make an Easter basket for their children.

KUO Director Jeff Newton would like to thank those who donated and passed out the many toys, stuffed animals, chocolate rabbits and wrapped candy. You have been the hands and feet of Jesus this Easter!

Thanks for love and support

The Tom Rethlake family sends this Cheer to loving friends:

Thanks to Toula and all the girls at Louie’s Coney Island for giving Abby a beautiful celebration of life and remembering all the special things she loved.

The rain poured down, but the sun was shining bright through the love and laughter shared by all of Abby’s family and friends. With our faith in God and our strong support system, we have become stronger.

You are all Abby’s angels and we will never forget the love and kindness you have shown. We will be forever grateful for everyone’s love and support.
