”I would like to acknowledge the excellent work and contributions our local firefighters make to this community, especially the two firefighters who were recently injured in the performance of their official duties

”Ryan Smalley and Aaron Ashburn, at one time or another, served on one or more of Center Township’s firefighting apparatus. They were both injured while fighting a local house fire.

Job well done, Kokomo Beach

Carrie Giannokos, professional relations coordinator at Jarrell Orthodontics, sends this Cheer for those at Kokomo Beach:

”Dr. Kevin Jarrell and the team at Jarrell Orthodontics want to send a Cheer to the staff at Kokomo Beach for a job well done.

”On June 20, Jarrell Orthodontics held its second annual Beach Bash for patients, referring offices, friends and family at Kokomo Beach. While hosting a private pool party for 700 might seem like a monumental task, the staff at Kokomo Beach make it a breeze.

”The facility is first-rate; the staff members are personable, professional and let the patrons enjoy all that Kokomo Beach has to offer while making sure safety remains a top priority.

”We thank Monica Reed at Kokomo Parks & Recreation for helping us organize this second annual Beach Bash and her entire team for making the event as much fun as we hoped it would be. Our guests had a wonderful time, we are already making plans for our third annual Beach Bash!”
