Jesus used Miracles: Things and events that cannot be explained by natural methods and reasoning.
Paul encourages Timothy to be serious about the discipline of studying the Word of God. Paul wanted Timothy to be a “work person” that God would approve of. Effective study no matter what the discipline might be demands great diligence.
No matter if we find ourselves in the “classroom of the schoolhouse” or in the “continuing educational system of life” until we exit this life as we know it, we should always desire to be work persons approved by God. We should strive to learn something each day and try to do our best each day in whatever class we attend.
The effective work person utilizes the tools they have acquired through study, examination, and practice in order to help build whatever or whoever. May our study methods and habits be such that we always attempt to rightly handle whatever situation comes our way.
An effective Christian is a continual student of Christ. Let’s continue “putting the work in” so we will be approved by God.
Have a great school year and strive to be in your seat when the bell rings.
Peace with justice, attend worship and families matter.
