‘Tipton County will be left with a mess’
We are blessed to live in the Tipton and Howard county areas. The till plain area from Fort Wayne to Terre Haute offers some of the richest farmland in America.
The Bible teaches us not to defile our bodies. I believe we could say the same thing about our environment and farm ground. A lot of these farms were inherited from two or three, maybe four generations. Those families were very frugal in protecting that ground and their seed money. I know this because I used to work for several of them when I was a teenager.
Now this generation is willing to sell out for a dollar. Their parents would never have bought into this. These windmills are nothing but a Band-Aid; in 15 years, they’ll be obsolete. Ultimately hydrogen will be the answer for fuel of all types. Tipton County will be left with a mess. They’ll never get that concrete out of the ground, rendering it useless.
Given the controversy with local politicians over the last couple of years, I don’t think I would trust them with my future. Again, use some common sense.
