Howard County arrests
Monday, 8:38 a.m., police arrested Joshua R. Smith, 25, 1800 block of North McCann Street, at Mulberry and Webster streets, on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Monday, 9 a.m., police arrested Martin Wilson, 20, 500 block of East Sycamore Street, at Buckeye and Sycamore streets, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
Monday, 11:15 a.m., police arrested two 14-year-old males at Central Middle School, 303 E. Superior St., each on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Monday, 3:04 p.m., police arrested Jennifer L. Beeler, 27, 4800 east block of 50 North at Kohl’s, 2156 E. Boulevard, on a charge of theft.
Monday, 3:20 p.m., police arrested a 13-year-old male at Main Street and Vaile Avenue, on charges of mischief and incorrigibility.
Monday, 3:24 p.m., police arrested Michael E. Hodges, 25, 500 block of South Armstrong Street, at Foster and Armstrong streets, on a body attachment warrant.
Monday, 8:53 p.m., police arrested Nathan Walker, 25, 600 block of Crystal Street, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear.
Monday, 9:49 p.m., police arrested Brandon Vandevender, 23, 1000 block of South Crystal Street, at Markland Avenue and Indiana Street, on a warrant for petition to revoke.
Monday, 10:37 p.m., police arrested Tabitha L. Henry, 28, 900 block of South Washington Street, at Courtland Avenue and Monroe Street, on a charge of false informing and a Tipton County warrant for probation violation. Police also arrested Edward Cooks, 52, 900 block of West State Street, on charges of carrying a handgun without a permit and possession of a handgun by a felon.
Monday, 10:50 p.m., police arrested Luther W. Riddle, 38, 600 block of East King Street, in the 2500 block of Apperson Way North, on a charge of false informing and a warrant for receiving stolen property.
Monday, 11:12 p.m., police arrested Jonas L. Cannon, 20, 1300 block of Kassi Court, at Berkley Road and Columbus Boulevard, on charges of operator never licensed, resisting law enforcement, attempted battery of a police officer, criminal recklessness and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.
Tuesday, 12:02 a.m., police arrested Willis R. Harvard, 19, Peoria, Ill., at Armstrong Street and Markland Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear.
Thefts
Monday, 2:58 p.m., a resident of the 2900 block of Apperson Way North reported the theft of a diamond ring valued at $800.
Monday, 3:05 p.m., American Tool Time, 3121 S. LaFountain St., reported the theft two bending brake tools valued at $1,231 each.
